Your wedding day is the day you both declare your love for each other, whether that be in front of a large group of family and friends or a small intimate circle of close loved ones, and the ceremony should reflect your personality as a couple. I am committed to tailoring your ceremony to be as original as you are, and I have Keira, my partner-in-crime and ceremony writing wizard helping me to ensure your ceremony is everything you hoped it would be, and more. To do this we take the time to get to know both partners before the big day; the most important thing is ensuring that your dream day is flawless and everything you hoped it would be!

I have officiated a marriage ceremony on top of a hill looking over a river, which was extremely formal and had religious tones to it (although I am not a religious celebrant), and I have officiated a super casual, elopement style ceremony that started out with the bride and groom saying they just wanted two witnesses, to the bride inviting the grooms closest friends from interstate to surprise her husband, while the groom organised a vintage car to pick up the bride without her knowing! I have performed a Lord of the Rings Ceremony - "One ring to bring them both, and in this marriage, bind them" - as well as weddings with references to Batman and Superman, Lego, Harry Potter, Friends, and even Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Sometimes these references were overt, because everyone knew that was how the couple's relationship ticked, and sometimes they were subtle, so only the couple knew they were there, which made it all the more meaningful for them.

Your Wedding Ceremony should set the tone for the entire day, not just be thing you have to get through in order to go have fun at the reception. I do my best to make the ceremony interactive, fun, and inclusive of your guests - there's nothing worse than having your guests walk away thinking, "I was so bored I have no idea what just happened." The ideal ceremony has your guests engaged, laughing with you (and sometimes at you ;)), and maybe even shedding a tear at how beautiful your relationship truly is.
