Need help with your wedding speech? Not sure if your speech sounds okay, or if it even has the right content, or you just don't want to do this at all, and you're wondering, why did I agree to do a speech?

We can help!

Scott was the President of Toastmasters Hawkesbury for two years, and also used to be a radio jockey for Hawkesbury Community Radio, an MC for 17 years and a Celebrant for seven. He's learned a thing or two about standing in front of a crowd, writing speeches and ensuring they are written for the spoken word, and not for reading. Believe me, it makes a difference!

We have been to a lot of weddings, and we have heard a lot of speeches. And we get it. Even though you know just about everyone at the reception, public speaking is nerve racking for the majority of people, no matter who their audience is.

That's why we've put together a few cheat sheets with tips and tricks for your speech. They are short and sweet, easy to follow, and if you want further help, book Scott as your Marriage Celebrant and MC (speech editing/proofreading is included - no hidden costs!).

Bride's Vow Questionnaire
Groom's Vow Questionnaire

Use this questionnaire to answer questions about your other half, and then edit down to vow length (you only need 100-130 words for your vows, plus the legal wording (which your celebrant will provide you). If you book Master of Ceremonies Sydney as your Marriage Celebrant, all you have to do is fill in the questionnaire, and then we will edit it for you! We'll take all the stress out of writing your own vows, but the best part is, thanks to the questionnaire, you did actually write them!
